Using bandida901.com, booking a table, or stepping through the door at 901 N. Alamo means agreeing to what follows. The rules are the bar's. Anyone who would rather not be bound by them is welcome to close the tab or step back out of the room.

Who these terms are with

La Bandida is a cocktail bar at 901 N. Alamo St., San Antonio, Texas, operated by its ownership. In this notice, references to the bar, the house, or La Bandida mean the business; the loft means the upstairs floor; the site means bandida901.com and any subdomain or page it operates; guest means the person reading this — at the door, at a table, or on the website.

Eligibility

La Bandida is a bar that serves alcohol under a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission license. Guests must meet the legal drinking age of twenty-one to be served alcohol. Valid government-issued photo identification is required, every time, regardless of appearance. An ID that cannot be verified will not be accepted, and entry can be refused on that basis alone.

The site is not intended for, and the house does not knowingly serve, anyone under twenty-one.

Seating

General admission is walk-in. Both floors are first-come, first-served, and no ordinary seat is held, booked, or promised in advance — through this site, by phone, or through any third-party platform. Any page or profile offering to book general seating at La Bandida is not operated by the house. The single exception is a reserved loft table, described below.

• Admission. Entry and seating depend on capacity at the time of arrival. A visit to this site creates no right of entry on a given night.
• Party size. Walk-in parties are seated as the floor allows. Tables are not moved together, and separate arrivals may be seated separately.
• Right to refuse. The house may close the floor at capacity, clear or reassign any unreserved seat, and decline to seat a party for reasons including, but not limited to, the conduct described under House rules.

Reserved tables

A table in the loft may be reserved by a party of four or more. A reserved table is a purchase, not a courtesy hold: it is confirmed only when the house has replied in writing and the agreed terms — bottle service and any minimum — have been accepted. A request submitted through this site is not a reservation, and no table is held until the house confirms it.

• Minimum spend. Each reserved table carries a minimum, set by the night, the size of the party, and the table. The minimum is quoted before the reservation is confirmed and is treated as spend, not as a fee — it is applied to what the table orders.
• Deposit and payment. The house may require a deposit or a card on file to confirm a table. Any deposit is applied to the minimum. Gratuity and applicable taxes are additional and are stated at the time of booking.
• Shortfall. Where a table does not reach its minimum, the difference remains payable.
• Cancellation. A confirmed table may be cancelled or moved up to forty-eight hours before the reserved night with any deposit returned in full. Inside forty-eight hours, or on a no-show, the deposit may be forfeited.
• Late arrival and duration. A reserved table is held for the night from the reserved time. Where a party has not arrived within one hour of that time and has not reached the house, the table may be released and any deposit forfeited.
• Party size. The size on the confirmation is the size the table is set and priced for. Additional guests may be accommodated where the floor allows and may change the minimum.
• Right to release. The house may move a reserved table within the loft where operations require it, and may end service at a table for the conduct described under House rules. Where the house cancels for its own reasons, any deposit is returned in full.

The loft

The upstairs loft, and the mezcal bar within it, are walk-in on the same terms as the first floor for every seat that has not been reserved. There is no list and no name at the door. The loft opens when the bar does and closes when it is full; access may be paused or ended at any point in the night at the discretion of the house.

Unreserved tables do not move together: if friends arrive separately, the host seats them separately. Agave service upstairs is subject to the same age verification and service-refusal terms as the rest of the house, and a reserved table does not alter them — the house may refuse or discontinue service at any table, reserved or not.

Private events and buyouts

Beyond a single reserved table, buyouts of the loft and its mezcal bar, full-floor closures, and tasting menus are arranged through the inquiry form on the contact page. A signed event agreement supersedes the general terms on this page for anything it specifically addresses. Until that agreement is countersigned, any quote, hold, or date discussed is informal and not a confirmed booking.

House rules

La Bandida is a candle-lit room that runs on quiet confidence. To keep it that way —

• Conduct. Disruptive behavior, harassment of staff or other guests, or any behavior that endangers the room is grounds for being asked to leave.
• Outside beverages. Outside food and drink are not permitted on the floor.
• Photography. Personal photography is welcome at the table. Flash, tripods, ring lights, and any setup that disturbs other guests are not. Professional or commercial shoots — including content for a paid channel or brand — require written permission in advance.
• Capacity. When the room is at capacity, entry pauses at the door. There is no waiting list, and priority at the door is not sold; a confirmed reserved table is the only seat the house holds.
• Refusal of service. Service may be refused, and entry may be denied, for any lawful reason, including intoxication, falsified identification, or conduct inconsistent with these rules.

Text messages and the newsletter

The number listed on the site — 210-439-0832 — is a text-only line. When a guest texts the bar, the house may text back about a booking, an event, or a question that was sent in. Standard message and data rates from the carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time to end SMS contact. Reply HELP for help.

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary, sent only to addresses that asked to receive them, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe. Details of how that information is handled are in the privacy notice.

Intellectual property

The name La Bandida, the bandida mark, the typography and layout of the site, the photography, the menu copy, and the wordmark are property of the bar's ownership. They may not be reproduced, printed, embroidered, or applied to merchandise without written permission.

Personal, non-commercial use — a photograph posted to a guest's own social account, a friend sent a link to the menu — is welcome and encouraged. Use that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation requires written permission.

Submissions

Anything sent through the contact form, the table and events form, the newsletter, or the text line — including notes written into the What are we celebrating? field — may be retained as part of the booking record and used to answer the message, fulfill the booking, and improve service. Submissions are handled as described in the privacy notice. The house does not solicit, and is not responsible for reviewing, unsolicited creative ideas, recipes, or business proposals; anything sent of that nature is shared at the sender's risk and without expectation of confidentiality or compensation.

Third-party services

The site uses a small number of outside services to function — typography via Google Fonts, a map via OpenStreetMap, and SMS via Twilio. Each operates under its own terms and privacy policy. The house is not responsible for the practices of those providers, but selects them with the same restraint applied to everything else on the site.

Site availability and accuracy

The site is offered as it is. Hours, menus, prices, and event listings are kept up to date, but a particular cocktail, spirit, or seating may not always be available at the moment of a guest's visit. Typographical errors, the rare misprice, and changes to the program are corrected as they are found; they do not create an obligation to honor a stated price or detail that was published in error.

Limitation of liability

Indemnification

A guest agrees to defend and hold harmless the bar, its owners, and its staff from claims brought by a third party arising out of the guest's breach of these terms, the guest's misuse of the site, or the guest's conduct on the premises.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability and the rest

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy notice and any signed event agreement, are the entire understanding between the guest and the bar regarding the site and the visit.

Changes

If these terms change in any meaningful way, the new version is posted here with a fresh effective date. Continued use of the site or a future visit to the bar after that date means the new terms apply.
